Re: The Chinese are making a game called "Anti-Japan War Online" I dare you to say the people living under communism had it good. Communism is a menace, and it always will be. It makes the government strong and the people weak. Thats what made it a menace, you seem to want to overlook the millions who died before WWII and the thosands that were wrongfully imprisoned or killed afterwards, they had no freedom whatsoever. Do you live in the U.S. ? Do you have some inside information on the government that we here don't? The primary reason we entred Iraq was because it was believed that they had WMDs. Don't try to pull out some BS about how Bush knew there wasn't WMDs and how he just wanted Oil. You know what Iraq did for our economy? JACK S*** If anything it's hurt our economy more then helped. It hasn't put money in anyone's pockets and has only led to a worse situation between us and the rest of the world. The secondary reason was to get Saddam the F*** out of there. He was to dangerous and power hungry to be allowed to retain control over any country. And the Iraqis live a much better life then they did before. As for the BS about us only giving aid to gain a heavy hand in other countries I just have to say F*** Off. We do something not just good, but wonderful for another country and somehow, someone, somewhere will take it and try to mold it into their own sorry a** paranoia about how the U.S. is trying to control the world or some other BS. It's people with your attitude that piss us Americans off, not the rest of Europeans or anything like that. I love the other Europeans, they are a fun loving, yet serious when need be people. It's only people who try to turn every single little thing against us that pisses us off. Sorry for this little rant but he had it coming. |
Re: The Chinese are making a game called "Anti-Japan War Online" Argh, please let's not start arguing about USA's reasons to get involved in the war, I'd rather have ten more people calling me an asshole than going through this, seriously. No government in this planet does something unless there is some chance of profit, doesn't have to be exclusively oil nor territory, nor money, it can be an increase in popularity what they're aiming for, or maybe to distract attention from other issues, or maybe having other nations owing them a favor, which is perfectly fair, but governments are not likely to do things just out of compassion, regular people can tho, and I don't doubt that a lot of the individual persons involved in the war really wish to help, a lot of them risking their lives for people they don't know, nor could even talk to if they tried. That's why I don't like people saying that Americans do this or that, and why I think that when you Nighthawk, say people with Komrad_Bs attitude piss Americans off, but maybe you don't know there are Americans with an attitude that pisses off the rest of the world. It's bad to generalise, people had it hard with communism, true, but capitalism isn't a paradise neither ( I must say tho, that I, personally, wouldn't change it for other system), we have poor people just like them, besides, don't forget that it wasn't so much communism, but the totalitarian regimes that applied communism, what f***ed up people's lives. And trust me, I've seen this arguments in other forums and they only lead to people getting angry and flame wars and bans, no side can prove the other wrong for certain, and even if they could, it's pointless since a lot of people in both sides wouldn't accept the truth even if it hitted them in the face. So let's stop it before it gets ugly guys. |

Re: The Chinese are making a game called "Anti-Japan War Online" I never said we are perfect or that our only reason for doing things is out of the goodness of our hearts. But it is a primary reason. You made it sound like America was evil, and I can't stand people who look at us and talk about how our ways are corrupted and all that BS then turn around and eat a hamburger and then sit back in their EZ chairs. Maybe I read between lines that didn't even exist. If I did then sorry. But here is some food for thought. Europe should look at it's own track record before commenting on us. |
Re: The Chinese are making a game called "Anti-Japan War Online" Komrad_B hit the nail on the head. |

Re: The Chinese are making a game called "Anti-Japan War Online" U.S. history is acually almost the exact opposite of Europe. It started off as a near perfect place to live in(well as perfect as you'll ever get on earth) and has gradually slipped. I have never claimed that the U.S. is perfect. Like I said i took it more personally agains the people of america rather then the government. And also there are alot of people out there who do exactly what I said, they turn everything, and I mean everything, back in against the U.S. Every little thing we do is somehow bad to them. Wether it is the war in Iraq or giving aid to viticms of disaters and disease all over the earth. I took you as being that kind of person, a misjudgement on my part. I still stand by alot of other people being completle A**holes about this stuff though. |
Re: The Chinese are making a game called "Anti-Japan War Online" I must agree that many people are so pissed agaisnt the current governement that they come to hate the american people as whole. I call these people racists, and I dispise them. A country's actions is almost always done by the governements, not by the people, even in democracies. Like I said in many threads, I disagree with Bush and some policies of previous presidents, but I don't disagree with America as a whole. |
Re: The Chinese are making a game called "Anti-Japan War Online" Now that we have that settled lets break out the vodka and dance! |
