Why cant game-developers EVER produce a game that is using the years '39-'41?!

Im both very happy and a bit disappointed to see this. If the game is like Warhammer 40k, then we'll see a relatively short american campaign (yes, only an american campaign) in Normandy, perhaps Bulge (yeah, very original). Then there will be an expansion that will add another country, say USSR or Britain, and we'll be able to play another campaign with them. The game itself will be wonderfully violent in the style of Warhammer 40k (i don't know if it'll fit WW2 tho, just if we look at those screenshots the battles look.. wierd). Of course these guys made the magnificiant game Warhammer 40k, but it doesnt really fit the WW2 genre.

Whats that Italian place..you know..where america faught as well. Gee Im starting to think they ONLY faught in Normandy.

Not to mention leaving out other countries, like UK and friends, Germany, USSR, and perhaps Japanese?

I guess we will be able to play all countries (not the Soviets, Japanese and perhaps not even Britain, wich as always, will be completely forgotten) in multiplayer tho. In other words, I suppose there will only be Americans and Germans, with perhaps some British (wich may be included a bit like the Imperial Guard in DoW).

In the first pic, anyone else notice how the 3 troops running beside the Sherman have modern equipment? What the hell is that?
Other than that it looks very promising.

what ya talking about? i see no morden equipment, Greaseguns, explosive, ect ect.. they are engineers
