Math Problem Help Ok well I got this math problem today for extra credit and wanted to know if anyone knew a simple way to do it. Its a factoring type of problem- Example (x-A)(x-B) = (x2-B-A +BA) (x-a)(x-b)(x-c)(x-d)(x-e)......All the way to (x-z) |
Re: Math Problem Help simple its just all of that times 2 which would equal X2 a-b-c-d-e-f-g-h-i-j-k-l-m-n-o-p-q-r-s-t-u-v-w-x-y-z + ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ |
Re: Math Problem Help I don't have math classes anymore so I can laugh at you :D  |

that isn't even right. (x-a)(x-b) x^2 - xb - ax + ab x^2 - (a+b)x + ab as for your problem like hell am I going to do it. It'll start off with X^26 though, but I'm sure you'll see the pattern |
Re: Math Problem Help well would it be x2 or x26-a-zX+a-z? |

Remember, FOIL is your friend! BTW, CaloTyst, love that sig quote. Who said that? |
Re: Math Problem Help I don't know, I laughed at it since it was rediculous. Anyways foil sucks. I just multiply every term by everything. I find it faster... and speed is what math is about. |

Re: Math Problem Help if you havent figured it out yet the answer to your problem should be zero only because of (x-x) |
Re: Math Problem Help Ooh, looks fun, factorisation. One of my most favorite past times along with nitting and watching paint dry. I'll just be walking 100,000,000km in the opposite way now, thanks. |
