they need to send it to fileplanet, with their glorious D/L manager...that never fails me!

That release was a leaked version, and the official version isnt supposed to come out until tuesday at the earliest. The file was leaked by a german eod site that had the file early and was supposed to wait to make a few final changes, but they just threw it into an installer and released it...

now the installer just keeps stoping at 13%..
so i went down to the store to buy a new copy but now you can only buy those stupid deluxe copy's with bf1942 and all the expansions and i allready own Road to Rome..

so do any of you guys know a cheap place online to order a single copy of Battlefield1942?

There should be tons of places were you can buy the single 1942 game. I know there is in Sweden anyway

In case someone is interested, 0.45, the last release for BF1942 is out. It contains four new maps and a few new vehicles as well. I just downloaded it and expected to play it for a few rounds, but the all-seeing eye shows only three players online.

I didn't expect a huge rush of players, but I never thought that the release would get this little attention.

Maybe it's compressed, are you sure you're looking at the right file?

I'd download this mod but the lack of players is really putting me off.
