No competition. Ash will shoot 'em both up in a minute. I however would not like to see them ruin one of my fav movie characters in some big budget Hollywood crap.

you know, it was over ten years ago that I heard some one first mention the possibility of an evil dead 4, lol. I hope Sam Raimi doesn't sell out. I think Bruce Campbell is hilarious, but this is a movie I do not want. Any one ever see Bruce's cut on Army of Darkness, absolutely awesome...

Wouldn't Army of Darkness 2 be roughly equivalent to Evil Dead 4 anyway, ignoring the fact that 1 and 2 are basically the same movie?

yeah, 1 and 2 are basically the same movie, I prefer 2 though. By the second one, I think that sam and the cast realized that their hopes of being taken seriously as a horror movie were long gone. It's absolutely a riot when "ash" looks at the mother/witch from the cellar and says "let's dance" or whatever. Laugh my butt off.

I'm really looking forward to potential sequels for Army Of Darkness. Although I don't really trust Raimi's skills in making such hilarious comedy anymore, knowing that he's a multi millionaire and director of such movies as Spidermans. But, with a little Camp spirit and help of Bruce Campbell, maybe there still is a possibility.
