New guide by Caeno and Lobo explaining how to use the "folded" FH2 flag instead of the regular one and instructions how to lightmap barbwires and cammonets correctly:

The FH2 mappingstandards, contains important information how the locking code in FH2 works also if you have the ambition of creating a map to be included as official you should read this:

How to put FH2 objects on the map? There aren't any objects in my programme.

This is how it should look when you place statics, if you cant see the objects you check in mod manager that all objects are loaded for the mod:

There was a little error in the skybox tutorial, you should always save your skybox as DXT1 (from an uncompressed source). Fixed now. Sorry guys.

Hi guys!

I have a problem here. I followed Fenrings bf2 editor setup tutorial letter by letter, but still I get the unhandled exception error. I retried the whole procedure several times.

When the editor loads FH2, the console shows a lot of red warnings (to fast to read, but there are lots of them).
BF2 vanilla works fine with the editor.

Iam using WinXP SP2.

Thats very odd, as long as you have extracted all the archives (cause the editor cant read zip files) there shouldnt be any errors and I have tried this procedure on all Windows XP versions and Vista, the only time this error has shown up is when i made some error in the extraction / object spawner process. PM me and well try to find a solution if it persists.
