No it doesn't, unless not in SinglePlayer.

lol here is a suggestion: for a minimod designed just to force the parachutes to open at a specific height. by the way, this suggestion would not work in a real world situation. only in pretend fantasy world that is the place that I live in. and even then, it might not work. but i dont know and may never know.

I am thinking that we could code an entirely new collision group that only reacts when it comes in contact with a soldier's collision (skeleton bah, whatever). and we code it so that the effect template for such a collision is a parachute.

then... you have to make an object that is invisible with the collision mesh having the material id that you coded (the collision group that you coded above) and finally it would have to be big enough to cover at least the area where your paras are going to be jumping...

the problem might be that you would have to make it certain that nobody would fly below this level, so maybe code the c47s to only have control over panning left and right, a-la those kit spawned planes' engines, though you would have players controlling them. hahahahaha! im insane this might work.

in theory it might work. but have you ever coded an entire collision group? its not fun. and it might not eve work so coding a new col group for perhaps nothing at all ... really not fun.. I know! IT sucks!

How about changing the model of C-47 collision to have additional area outisde the door. Giving it material that would allow soldiers to pass and make them open parachutes would work alot better than having to worry if people wouldn't fly below the material level.
