Ah yes, I forgot to mention, the geometries and objects.con are used for when you want to use a radio, or other object playing and being the sound source. For example, when you want to place a radio with a national theme playing.

Ok, I made a backgroud sound (named env.wav) and put it in a Sound directory in my map, I added an Environment.con and .ssc in a Sounds folder and added the line "run Sounds/Environment" to my init.con. I then put 16bit PCM stereo wavs in the relevant 11/22/44kHz folders in my Sound folder. This didn't work - I got messages that the files were non PCM format and were corrupt when I ran Bf debug. I then changed the wavs to mono and this time I only got the non PCM format message when I ran debug and the sound worked fine! The problem was there was a short period of silence (due to the way I made the wav) at the beginning and end of the file which could be heard when it looped in-game. I deleted the silent bits and re-saved the file at the different frequencies in mono and re-packed the map but this time the sound didn't work.

Anyone know what's happening here?
