"Data Differs from Server"
 

Sorry for the n00b question but my clan and i cant play on our server, for some reason when they try and log on they get kicked off and get a message saying "Data differs from Server". I can't believe I'm doing this but I need help. ARGH! I sound so much like those n00bs.

Having same problem here. I heard u had to install teh map pack, server version and full version. I also heard, that u can't have your server set to pure. Hope it works

I am also having the same problems. I tried it with clients and server at my own lan, so it's for sure I use the right software version. The client/server works perfectly with the standard bf1942 and/or road to rome (no data differs from servers errors) but when the server starts as a forgotten hope server all the clients that login get the "data differs from server error" after the map has fully loaded. The clients all have bf1942, road to rome, patch1.45 and forgotten hope installed. The server has the standalone 1.45 dedicated server and the forgotten hope stand alone server installed. I tried to install the mappack on the server (thought that maybe some data from the maps differt..) but with no result. WHAT's THE PROBLEM???? HELP ME OBI ONE KENOBI, YOU ARE MY ONLY HOPE:-)

I found the SOLLUTION!! I bet it will work for the rest. it's very simple...
use another server manager than the standard which is supplied bij de standalone server. so after installing the standalone server. download a
BF dedicated servermanager 2.0 (www.blackbagops.com). startup a server ,make sure that CONTENT CHECK is OFF in the servermanager and clients can log in without errors.

Hey sneaky! i need more detail of what u did with the server manager, i downloaded it, and i goofed arouned with it, but im still confusied can u help.
