No crosshairs on planes?
 

Are there no crosshairs on planes? Someone told me to press x, but it did nothing. I can't hit anything without crosshairs!

Hit whatever button you hit to aim in a tank. Not going to be crosshairs going to be a reticle.

I tried that. X works to bring up the targeting in a tank, but does nothing on a plane.

Check your keyboard settings for airplanes and use/change the binding for launching flares.
