FH2 Servers - where did they all go?

Hmm so today I started up the FH2 Toolbox and noticed suddenly that it is only showing 8 servers instead of the usual 20 or so. hslan, for example, isn't showing. Not even in the in-game browser.

Only populated server that is showing is "T-R Clan | Crete 1941-no timelimit".
I have changed no filters at all. I've just went to check Game-monitor and hslan is online and all, but has a small number of players probably because of this problem. Translated version of http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/78.46.41.108:16567/

Anyone know what's up?

Something's wrong with Gamespy (use to call it "Gayspy") today, it doesn't show/ping servers in many games :/

happend be4.

You still can connect to servers by IP, or if you listed them as favorites, you also can see them in the favorite tab INGAME (not using the toolbox, that won't work).

note that some servers are still visable in the toolbox, others arn't, but they're all online.

will probably be fixed tomorow (just like last time)

We at hslan do not know what happened, but our server is up and running. Use the IP in the banner below if you want to join us manually.

My FH1 in game server browser is about empty. Show 7 servers and it used to show over 500. What's going on????

I assume gamespy is having some difficulties since the COD 2 servers have also been offline 2day (but they're back now)

Isn't there any other program to show servers? I remember a few computers ago, I had something, and it showed servers listed by game and mod, for a bunch of different games. Can't remember what it was called though.

I think it's called the all seeing eye.

But all seeing eye is not longer operating.. So when are the servers gonna be back again, not only for this game but many other games that use Gamespy?

so there are no problems in the future, make servers as your "favorite" so they will be there whether there's a problem or not. Second become part of the community that provides the server for example wolfgaming.net for those who enjoy gaming on Wolf servers or Warhaus.com for those who enjoy DeadMeat servers there you can find info about their server status.

From the EA forums:
Quote:

Greetings,

It has come to our attention that the servers are not showing up in your game's server browser or GameSpy Arcade or on GameSpy Comrade.

There may be an error in the Master Server Query or there is possible maintenance that is taking longer then expected. The GameSpy Admins and Techies have been notified of the problem and are working on fixing it. It should be fixed hopefully soon so please just wait and look for another post confirming the fix or until you see servers in game.

The maintenance or error goes out to ALL games that use our Master Server Query. That means if the game uses GameSpy's server browsing to locate servers, you will not see any. You may how ever still be able to join game's by direct connecting to them through IP address.

Thank you.

Re: FH2 Servers - where did they all go?

Relax, this must be a problem on your side.
I just fired up Qtracker and it shows 12285 people playing BF2 and 2900 Servers; 41 People playing FH2 and 43 Servers; 133 people playing FH0.7

As far as I know Qtracker has its own Master Servers for the Server Lists, so it might not be affected by the same Problems the official Server List (and the apps using it like Gamespy) has.
