Forgotten Hope 2.1 Problems & Solutions

Yes, I do.
But before I reinstalled my BF2 I didn´t had these problems o0

Remove PR, do clean install and everything is as it should be.
PR is very agressive against other mods. Sadly I had to ban it from my computer.

Mhh, that sucks :/ I really like PR and it worked before the install well. Looks like I really should reinstall it all and just live with the annoying help messages (they don´t appear in PR, btw).

PR ruins everything except itself. Gladly I like FH2, EOD2 and AIX way more then PR.

Not true as I have both PR and FH2 plus other mods (EOD2, AIX, BGF, POE2, Pirates) and they all work without causing any problems.

If you have troubles saving settings in FH2 then try starting with FH2 shortcut not through toolbox. I had odd problems with BF2 forgetting my settings if I started FH2 with toolbox.

I usually start FH2 with the desktop shortcut and still cant save these settings (graphics etc. are saved, just not the game options o0)
Also I get an odd error message now. I guess I´ll reinstall BF2 again, maybe I´ll get it to work again.

I've also had that for a while but after a major failure in FH2 I reinstalled it and it got grey crosshairs. Re-installing it again solved the problem but later with the new PR version it was screwed over again. PR does screw over mods, just not always. I always start through shortcut and with PR installed it will never save any settings.

Its most likely because of the varied computers everyone has. Some have no problems and then there are those who are just wading through them because their hardware/drivers/whatever cause conflicts with something within the mod or game and then screws everything.

Yes. Computers and mods can be very random.
Though these problems are done by PR. Me and 2 friends all have or had these problems while PR is or was installed. Co-incidence? Nah.

It seems like I solved the problem by deleting BF2 and mods and reinstalling it all. This time I installed FH2 before PR and now I don´t seem to have any problems...computers are indeed odd ^^
