Based on the 1st post for the solution on 'Failed to move', move all files in My Documents/Battlefield 2/mods...

What and how if 'My documents' looks like this?

mcramsey something must have gone very wrong there. Or haven't you started BF2 at all before trying to run FH2? There usually has to be a folder called mods in that BF2 folder under my documents.
When you get that error message in your first post, just try to click on OK and it should continue into the game.

Hmm I have a problem with BF2.exe crashing when I quit FH2. When I quit I hear that annoying windows sound effect and then FH2 report crash program asks if I want to report a crash.

Mine does the same thing. Common problem. I've been told to ignore it.

Ok. Thanks for telling that. I was just worried that it would mess up the shaders of other mods. It won't do that right?

It won't mess them up as long as you start fh2 from its desktop exe. And close it correctly. Oh and don't minimize it.

Okay, even after following the above directions, FH2 will still not run in Vista for me. I hope that with the next version you guys change the installer to work right because if PR, EOD, DCon, and all the rest can make it work, why is FH so difficult?

You have to run the FH2.exe in Admin mode!
Try giving it admin rights via the link on the desktop.
Worked superb for me.
