Double waiting time in SP
 

I read the FAQ, but i dont know how to fix the issue of waiting twice as long in SP, can someone tel me how please :)

Oh and it seems to me that either the weapons do stupid amounts of damage or you dont have much health, because im being beaten by bots when i play, i just keep on dying. Maybe I just suck.....?

Get online. Its a lot more fun :)

And yes, you will get killed by a single shot in FH most times.

:moved: to help/support as this is an problem with your settings not the game. Haven't played much SP though so I have no clue on hwo to control respawn time. Guess with the FH2toolbox or something. The ingame options are rather limited (blame Dice) :(

I've just tried the following and it seems like it fixed the double respawn time in SP.
Go to c:\...\my documents\battlefield 2\profiles\'your name'
There open the ServerSettings.con with the editor/notepad and change GameServerSettings.setManDownTime 15 > GameServerSettings.setManDownTime 0

You can also try to use the BF2ServerLauncher from the BF2 root directory, there you can start up a Coop game LAN server, set ManDownTime 0 and PlayersNeededToStart 1. Gives much more control over the settings and you can start even when being alone. Join it ingame via Multiplayer > Join Local.

If the bots are to difficult atm, you can change this in the FH2Toolbox or the mentioned ServerSettings.con in your profile or via the BF2ServerLauncher. If i'm not completely wrong the range goes from 10-100, where 10 is easiest and 100 hardest. Opening an ingame SP game is a bit confusing on the difficulty settings because all 3 different levels look prechecked.

It should still work to select one but you are just not able to see it.
