DL help!
 

I just DL FH0.7 and heres what wrong---
1.Stuff is all grey!!
2.Theres like 5 maps!
3.missing sounds!

Whats wrong I want this cuz it pwn's DCF(my fav BF MOD) and now its all screwy is there sum way i can fix it with out having to DL 700mb again?

First of all Forgotten hope is not 700Mb, its download size is about 2Gb. so what you probably have done is download part1 of 3 and thought that was the entire game :)

Things you can do from here on out is:

- uninstall FH
- download the 3 instalation files:

file 1, file 2 and file3

- IMPORTANT! Delete the "\Games\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\Mods\FH" map and all of its contents, if the map still existst

- Make sure your bf is patched up to 1.61b (it probably is since you play other mods)

- install file 1 of 3
- install file 2 of 3
- install file 3 of 3

Play and welcome to the most awesome mod there is ^____^ Its a big download, but this mod is very much worth it (bigest bf42 mod comes to mind)

well most likely FH2 is going to be even large :P

Might, I ask with what kind of connection you are downloading? You can make a rough estimate of how long it would take...

Lets take this as a rough example working with Kilo Bytes per second (not Kilo bits):
2000MB
512KB/s = 0.512 MB/s

This would be:
2000/0.512 = 3906.25 seconds
3906.25/60 = 65.10 minutes

256KB/s:
(2000/0.256)/60= 130.2 minutes


Keep in mind that the filesize is not 100% 2000mb (could be arround 2100, I dunno for sure since I don't have the files here locally :D) and your speed will probably not be downloading the files at full speed. But take my word for it, and prolly the rest of the community members here, Forgotten Hope is awesome. Actually its the only game I play at the moment...
