Multiplayer Crashing

Hi,

Got a bit of a weird problem here. It seems everytime I join a MP game of Vanilla or FH regardless of server or map it will freeze when I get to the spawn menu or just as I have spawned. I have done the usual such as un-installing re-installing but no no avail. I havn't re DL FH as I figured if it does it in Vanilla its a problem with BF1942 not FH. The only thing I have changed recently is got some new Wireless Adaptor Drivers. I am behind a Linksys WRT54G Wireless-G Broadband Router/4-Port Switch and I am using a Linksys WUSB11 Wireless USB Network Adapter to actually get the internet. I have got NTL 2MB cable which is shared with one other PC which is wired. I have tried switching the other PC off just incase it was sucking all the bandwidth but it still crashes. It doesn't give any error it jusr freezes and a restart is the only remedy :bawl:

System Specs:
Foxconn Nforce4
AMD 64 3000+
2 X 512MB PC3200
ATI Radeon X800XL PCI-E with Cat 5.4 and DX9c
Western Digital Cavair Special Edition 120gb SATA
Sony DVD-RW

I am also using Zone Alarm firewall.

I say its multiplayer related because I am running SP and co-op perfectly well with no hickups so I assume its MP related :uhm: I havn't tired updating the Firmware on the router as its a bit fiddlely but if its a valid path of exploration I am willing to take it.

If anyone have some info / suggestion I would be very thankful!

Thanks

Re: Multiplayer Crashing

Suggestion I have is:
SCSI or Raid drivers should get an update
Gfx driver should get an update

I had the problem once only with multiplayer and as it turned out my drivers for the SATA controller were corrupt. The memory file is splitted to all hdd's but he never used it besides for BF. After an update all went well.

As said in the private message:

Check your hardware (if you know good, otherwise check the manuals), visit the manufacterers' homepages and download the drivers for your hardware. Can't tell you more.
