Black Screen
 

I keep getting a problem after playing for 20 min or so my screen goes black with .67a. I can alt tab and close down the program but cant do anything else when this happens. It doesnt not respond so i can no clue what its from.

Im using ati 5.3 drivers
winxp pro

If you need me to post a dxdiag let me know, but its damn fustrating and makes me want to not even play the mod.

Before that I would always get this black screen or get kicked from server becuase of pb, I updated pb and havent been getting kicked but still get this annoying black screen.

also .67a i keep experiencing screen studders and a huge loss of fps compaired to .66

If anyone can help let me know, I tried reinstalling and got the same problem and online alot of others in the wolf server said they are experiecing it as well.

what i would do is redownload the 67 and alpha again..may be a corrupted download.hope that will help.oh but before i forget-from a different mirror this time.

Did you install 0.67 over 0.66 or 0.65? Try the other version maybe. Actually it should not change anything as files are just overwritten - but computers do strange things from time to time ;)

I installed it over .66, Maybe the problem is I installed .67 over .66 without running the game then immediately installed the .67a hotfix then ran the game after rebooting.

I dont think that would do anything but maybe.

I tried reinstalling the whole game .66 then .67 then .67a and get the same problem so im about ready to give up.

Computer is still running fine only that the screen is black?
Or is there anything else could be cause by temperature in you PC p.e.?
Which gfx card? Maybe older drivers do better with your card? (They do with me ;) )
Do you have the problem with any other game yet?

Temp is fine, and computer is still running fine, forgotten hope is still responding but the screen is black after about 20-30min of play, so I have to alt tab and end the program.

I have no problems with any other games and they all run best with ati 5.3s except FH which noway im going to use old drivers just for one game and have the many others not run as good.

all run best with 5.3 so theres no chance of me going back to the old drivers just for FH, but that is probally the cause of the problem becuase 5.3s are relatively new. I wonder if anyone else had the same problem with 5.3s

My graphics card is the ati 9600 xt 256m agp 8x.
