Make sure you're playing with the patched client on patched server. .67a that is.

Bug forums do exist....

This sounds worrying, I have seen many people CTD on other maps, but no mass disconnections.

I get the same problem in Single Player -> Instant Battle whenever i try to use Tobruk (my favourite map for refamiliarizing myself). I just finished the reinstall of FH (haven't played since 0.61), and so far only Tobruk seems to be giving me trouble....it gets complete or near complete in loading then CTD. My system is as follows (note: i'm a systems engineer, and when i say NOTHING running in the background I mean nothing with the exception of core windows services).

Windows XP SP2 Professional - DEP disabled
2.8GHz Pentium 4 Northwood, Hyperthreading Enabled
Intel i865PE chipset - latest chipset drivers
1GB DDR400, Linear Dual-Channel
nVidia GeForce 6800 Ultra - Forceware 71.84 (latest official)
DirectX 9.0c
90GB+ free on C: for swap and temp files
Antec 550w TruePower PSU
CPU temperature 44C under load.
Battlefield 1942 1.6 + Road to Rome (no secret weapons expansion)
Forgotten Hope 0.67a (no other mods)
No other non-system-critical software running.

BF1942 & FH were cleanly installed tonight for the first time since last OS installation. BF1942 Deluxe -> Version 1.6 -> FH .65 -> .67 -> .67a

well, with a bit more reading around the forums, i was able to get it to play by doing a multiplayer co-op match. have to watch and see if it continues to work or if maybe its just a fluke.

see a few mentions around this board that playing single isn't recommended; but it seems to work on some stages and not others - is this gonna be looked into for .68? I absolutely love this mod and think the team did a fantastic job with whats done so far - hopefully we'll see it in a more complete state before BF2
