This is what happens to me... Any ideas?

Well Im new to this mod but NOT new to the game as I have been playing since it was released... I have followed this mod for a long time yet never decided to use it until now... Well I downloaded all 3 things I needed and everything looks great as I go to custom and choose the FH mod then I go to singleplayer to play the new maps and see the awsome work... Well I choose my map and load it however as it starts to switch screens from the screen with the bar that fills up with ammo to show its loaded to the game screen, I hear a click and it goes right to the desktop...

My system is this...

A64 3200, MSI MB K8Tneo, 1024mb PC3200, Geforce 6800 GT just purchased, Windows XP...

Any ideas on this?

Yeah!! I'm sure it's your problem. Start a multiplayer LAN game. If you choose cooperative as your type of game you'll play with bots. But most of FH maps don't support bots.

Download FHX minimod to have bots in some FH official maps. Search FHX info in FHX sticky thread at "Forgotten hope General Yib-Yab (Off Topic)" section.

ps: dudes... take a look at the forums before post your problems. Most of us had the same problems with FH in the beggining ;)

Thank you so much bro... Yeah that is it... I could play multi but couldnt play with bots however I just wanted to see all the cool stuff before I get creamed in the real combat lol... Its hard to aim tanks and such lol and its going to take some time to get use to it... I started being able to somewhat snipe with my rifles without the scopes... I do like that better as you dont have all those snipers hitting you before you even get a chance to play...

I don't understand why you can't play with bots. If you choose Multiplayer - > Create LAN game and choose COOPERATIVE MODE (not capture the flag or something else) the server will have bots!!!

If you set 24 slots will be 23 bots + you. I'm sure it works, but only will be available vanilla BF1942's maps and some FH official maps. The rest of the maps don't have been coded to use bots.

WIth the FHX minimod some other FH official maps have the bots code, so they will be available.

Try again, I'm sure you'll play with bots, dude ;)
