Map Change Screen...disconnected from server
 

I am having a problem with FH not changing maps in Multiplayer mode. I have been on several different FH servers and when the map is over, and the loading screen comes up for the next map to load, it just sits there, then in a minute or 2 I get the disconnected from server message. Anyone know why this is happening?

Map changes work fine in BF1942. And once I actually did get a map change in FH. But on the next map change I got the same problem again. Same server even.

I have uninstalled BF1942 completely, folders and all...uninstalled FH and its folders, and then reinstalled. I get this same problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

It is possible that the problem is not on your side.
Maybe the Server had problems. Our own Server had crashed
A lot and the Client get the message “ Map not found ”
It was a bug in the Server manger and to less Ram.
try more different Servers.

Well, I have an update to my original post.

The following pertains to the WOLF server, since that is the most populated and least likely to be empty server for me. Sometimes I am able to get map changes when a round is over, and sometimes I am not. When I am not, I get the "Disconnected from Server" message. Could this be an issue where I am timing out with my connection with the server because it doesnt load the new map fast enough? If so, is there a way to change how long FH will wait for the server map change before timing out? I am talking locally. This is just one theory a friend of mine had. Dont know that this is actually the problem.

Still looking for any help.

i think this happens to everyone, maybe not as often as you though.
say wolf is 46/46 on saipan and someone is trying to get in but can't, then map changes to BOTB, whilst everyone is loading that map up it might say 13/46, then 28/46 until it gets back up to 46/46, if someone tries to join the server before it gets to 46/46 they stand a good chance of getting on, but that means 1 of the previous 46/46 will get booted as they are still loading the map (due to having less RAM than everyone else i think?)

maybe u should try try downloading fh from another mirror
