I got Forgotten Hope 2 just today, I played it for a while, then had a clan match. I logged in into vanilla bf2(regular) and I saw the same old-style menu on bf2 vanilla. I thought it was pretty cool at first, but what it does is that it doesn't let you play. I get an error that says I have modified content and I have to revert to default settings, How do I do that, and could you please fix the bug?
Small note-The cause might have been joining from Xfire.
Another note-Played on the same server as my brother, he didn't get any problems

Single Player Menu, Notice all difficulties are checked. The enemy AI sucks.
Never happend to me before (I have logged in to BF2 once or twice). Could it eb because you first started FH2.exe and then swapped internally to BF2? Which is somethng that should't be done (just like starting BF2.exe and then swapping to FH2).
Umm you are new to bf2??
click on the fh2 shortcut on the desktop not the bf2 one, if you dont hae it then launch bf2 and then go Community and activate FH2.
try and reinstall bf2 from scratch and patch it then install fh2 and see how it goes.

Is that directed at me or the author of this thread? I ymself have about 15 minutes of BF2 vanilla experience. After I got FH2 there wasn't any need to play BF2 which features two thinks I do not like: modern combat and arcade gameplay. So I only logged into BF2 a couple of times. And I think I only switched from BF2 to FH2 ingame once or so (before we had a shortcut?).

Do NOT launch BF2 first and then activate FH2 via the community tab. This may cause various graphic problems (incorrect shader effects). To play FH2 proberly launch FH2.exe. Same goes for BF2 and other mods, use their respective .exe to make sure you use the correct shader effects for that gamemod, preventing graphical errors.
Anton, have you edit your BF2 in any shape or form? If all you did was (with BF2 + 1.41 patch installed) was to install FH2 and ran FH2.exe then played, quited to desktop and launched BF2.exe to play BF2 then it might be a bug or some strange hickup. I'm not knowledged enough to be able to tell if this us caused by a bug/mistake on FH2's site or inproper user behaviour or comuter/system problems...
This problem is because of our custom shaders. FH2.exe replaces the BF2 shaders with our shaders in the mods/bf2 folder. After you close FH2, FH2.exe restores the shaders. When your FH2 crashes it won't be able to restore the shaders, so you'll play BF2 with FH's shaders. Simply run FH2.exe again and close it properly to reset the shaders.

Did the trick, Thank you, and Thanks to all for the other suggestions

This sure fixed some 'bugs' for me. One thing tho If you rename BF2.exe you can't start FH2.exe. Is there a work around for this?
