Panzerfaust 30 went thru M36

I was at the church in battle of the bulge when an M36 allied tank rolled up, I snuck in behind with my panzerfaust 30 and the tank rolled up a bit too far, hitting the sandbags and the tank went up a bit as we've seen before in bf, anyways I shot my faust in the lower rear of the tank and it just sailed right thru the thing...? We eventually lost the flag, 'cause I was a lone soldier at the flag and my only round didn't hit but sailed thru.

It happens when you fire at it's treads because they have no hitbox , so when you fire bazookas, tank shells Etc. Etc. they will fly right through it.

I had a very similar thing happen on Falaise Gap where I shot a Panzerfaust at a Sherman that was at the first flag in center. I hit the Sherman in the right side just behind the turret and the hit indicator popped up but the round went right through and hit the wall on the other side of the tank.

My theory of the Panzerfaust faults is that the shot doesn't travel exactly like it seems to. And if it really was M36 then why didn't you just jump on it and shoot the driver with the rifle? That way you would have had the tank for yourself.

Oh and Panzerfaust can take M36 out from the side easily. That's the easiest place to hit.

I think it is the same with the Crusader III, at least it was in 0.61 I think.

the lower parts of the tracks can't have a hitbox, because if they had the tank would sit on the collbox on every little bump. For the Panzerfaust not hitting: 3 letters: L A G. Open a server yourself, get in and shoot that thing at tanks, you will not once experience a Faust going through something.

Its a shame really, on sector <something> today a spawn i was at got over-run with infantry and tanks, i hid. Then a panther pulled up next to the building i was in, i had a clear shot at the side (like 1 meter away). And my darn logic figured i would be better of puting my bazooka shell into the tracks of the thing (the wheels), much to my dismay the zook went right trough, i got some other shots at the side but the thing just drove off when i was out of ammo..
