Bumping up your system ram my help with the missing textures since they will start offloading onto system ram after you exceeded your video ram, but since this is done thru a bus, it will not help, but in fact, hender video performance. Kinda like disk swapping memory.
6.1 included a lot of redone Dice textures that are sharper and more detailed than the originals. The downside of the higher resolution and more immersive graphics are that they don't compress as well in video memory as the original blurry dice textures. This eats up more memory, and maybe more memory than your specs can handle.
I'm not tech support nor a game engine guru, but I can say that the gurus that do our coding and most of the testing are all using a minimum of a 128meg card. I also have friends with higher specs than what you have that never see my work simply becasue they say they cannot run FH on their machines.
Wish I could help more. I do have loads of PC100 ram left over from upgrades, so if you have the slots, get hold of me on ICQ #262019. This might fix the missing textures, but I would suggest looking at a sub $100 128 meg card somwhere to get the most out of the game. MX is pretty old tech.. Lots out there with 128 megs of DDR video memory that would just blow your MX out of the water. Typical price for an ATi 9600 SE with 128 ram is about $70.00
