hey everyone i am Dirceu....joined F|H for arround a year ago...and if i could put the 2 best things i ever done since i got internet it would be :
1- joined the Brazilian Tournament BPM.
2- My Friend Herrkreiss showed me the way to F|H, and it was a great decision i made not to give up when i saw that we had to speak english.
since the day i joined i was very welcomed and i have had great experiences over there. one thing i like is how open minded it is. i am able to say everything i think and everyone respects that as long as i respect others opinions, and thats something you dont find in every place on the internet. i can many times disagree on the admins and they wont take it personaly and use their power only to ban me cause i dont agree with them...instead they try to join both ideas to make the best use of them.
about the battles: damn they got nice maps every week and i dunno where they come up with them...
so whoever is reading this you should give it a try cause you wont lose anything...you will be making a lot of friends and have inumerous hours of fun for free...

I'm afraid you will need to remove the skull in your signature: http://www.gamingforums.com/announcement.php?f=483

- No swastikas in clearly visible positions (details such as insignia or medals on uniforms are acceptable)
- No SS insignias (neither the runes nor the skull)
- No pictures showing leading figureheads of the Nazi regime (this does not include army commanders such as Field Marshall Rommel or Admiral Dönitz)
- No caricatures of the above (this includes President Bush and others displayed as Hitler)
- No obvious propaganda images (such as idealistic soldier images and Nazi propaganda posters)

Hi all, I'd like to invite you all to come and join us at ForgottenHonor.com, a WWII campaign-based tournament. At ForgottenHonor, a different historical battle is played out each week, on a completely unique custom map for each battle, with many new vehicles, skins and weapons made entirely for our tournament. So, what can you expect if you join us?

*A more realistic and rewarding Battlefield experience; we utilise the much-acclaimed ForgottenHope Mod (http://forgottenhope.bf1942files.com/) to its' full potential, which extends the ~25-30 vehicles in the original BF1942 to over 200, introduces historically accurate weapons and new equipment, and almost doubles the amount of maps provided in the original game, with new and exciting sea-only battles, famous maps like Ramellle (from Saving Private Ryan), as well as remakes of popular, classic maps. As well as these, you'll find interesting new maps, such as Pavlov's House (as seen in Call of Duty 2). To play with us you'll need to download this wonderful free mod, and it is well worth the effort. *For the tournament itself, our dedicated mapping and modding teams brings us a completely new map (built from the ground up) each week, as well as vehicles unique to our campaign, for example the Renault Char B, in our current campaign La Captivité, based on the battles surrounding the liberation of France. Each map brings a fresh new look to tactics and gameplay in the BF1942 experience.

*As well as all the additions to the game itself, joining ForgottenHonor brings you into a highly active BF1942 tournament community, where a timeframe is selected for a campaign and the Allies and Axis take on one another each week to contest a theatre of World War II. As I mentioned, we're currently fighting over the soil of France, in our 5th campaign La Capitivité, where a Free French Army Division takes on elements of the Kampfgruppe die Ehrenwache.

Past campaigns include 'The Ardennes', 'War in Russia' and 'North Africa'. Scores are kept based on group activities, not individual kills, so teamwork and teamplay are essential for victory!

*Take a side and join a company, and get to know your squadmates on our dedicated TeamSpeak server; we run Division practices each week to get accustomed to each new map, and the battles we play are fought Friday nights at 19:00GMT. A command structure is very present in FH, which adds to the realism, but all ranks can have an input in the proceedings.

*The Free French Army needs YOU! We're currently lagging behind by a few points and could use a few good recruits to help us turn the tides on the Germans. Join an infantry, tanker or commando company and help us liberate French soil from the hands of the Nazi invaders! We've only a few battles left to go in this campaign, which means you can join now and be well accustomed to the ForgottenHonor system for our next campaign (number 6), currently under wraps, but no doubt the details of which will be released soon!
