if i need to download patch 1.4 as i'm currently playing v1.0 can any1

Do whatever the mod readme says.

I played it with 1.41 and it worked perfectly for me. Weapons are lying around, they're all on the first two islands.

thanks for info i'll try it out, downloaded 1.3 and it didnt work then although

the bullet holes stayed on bodys, where do i put new devmode in fcdata or

somewhere else??? need to know plz thankz

The devmode file goes in the main Far Cry folder.
I have over 10 different skins in the FCData folder and had to rename the Textures19 file to zz-Textures19. The game reads the pak files in alphabetical order. You might want to try that sporg66. And the 1.4 patch wouldn't hurt either.

ok wats the main folder called coz ive put it everywhere and it dont work

even after 5 reinstalls it cant be that hard is the folder name bin 32 or

somethin else patience plz im a noob???

The main folder is called Far Cry. The instructions are all there in the readme.

I know man. You've been here a lot longer than I have, so I'm trying to be nice. I just got Far Cry a few weeks ago, and I'm quite enjoying it! Some very cool skins and SP maps in here.
