Different Rendering Modes.
 

Ive seen, and been told about the different rendering modes on FarCry.

There is a box in the bottom right hand corner of Video Options where you select "cartoon"etc etc.

Except for me its greyed out, whats going on? I cant change it because its unclickable.

Is it "game-completion" related?

it works for me i think its your drivers video card or your graphics settings, ive herd of other pple having the same problem but i ust dont know why it does it yes sorry

well, they are greyed out, but i have a geforce 3 64mb, so it might be a vid card problem...

well I have a radeon 9600 pro, with 128 mbs of vid mem, and 'tis still grayed oot for me!

You hafta have the performance mode set to high to make it show, and you can't change it while you're playing. It doesn't do much though, most of the options look worse than the default, and mainly changes the colour profiles for the game.

Similar to ATI's SmartShader features.

You can change the rendering mode in he middle of play.....that is all...
