Damn...

First my PC crashes after getting like 60% in the game.. not being able to fix my PC problem fast (waiting for new motherboard etc) I was going to buy a Xbox 360 anyway, so I got one with a copy of Far Cry 2 and try to finish it on that system instead.... I get to 85% (taking my time with diamond hunting and buddy missions), I turn on my Xbox yesterday, try opening my savegame and the piece of crap freezes! I reboot the system.. freezes again when I try opening the savegame!!! *cries* The only slack backup I have is a savegame where I just entered Act 2 (50%).. which works!!

To others: make MANY loose savegames, and try avoiding overwriting existing ones.

I quicksave practically every 10-15 minutes when I play. Unfortunately, by the time I've gotten towards the end of the game, it takes forever to load the list of saves I've made.
