| Is the glider able to fly long distances? I've only been able to fly it for a few hundred feet at best. I do not see any use for the glider unless it could fly farther than I've seen so far. Is there a trick to flying this thing? |

| There's only two gliders I've seen that fly a fair ways. One is on a cliff at the end of a river canyon behind Dogom Village. The other is near one end of the big train bridge. I agree, they should have placed them higher or made them descend slower. In Far Cry you could get good long rides in on most of them and do some serious damage while in flight. For the most part they're more realistic than the ones in Far Cry, there's just not high enough places in the maps to put them.

| Yeah, and there is one in the near-desert of the second part of the big world map stuck up in a tree. There is a diamond case below the tree. As far as it goes, they were all poorly placed, less than even 'last minute thought' placements. As far as controlling it, just try to minimize how many times you steer left or right, the less you touch it, the more it goes. No more catching updrafts or stuff like FarCry to go higher.

| Hehe.. I really need to practice. Each time I lift off and navigate a bit I end up crashing pretty much where I started |

| Once you push off, just leave it be. Unless of course you're going to run into a tree or something, then move.

| Ok, I will try that.. it usually goes haywire when I try diving down to get more speed for gaining more altitude. Now maybe I can get that damned diamond on top of an unclimbable rock, close to the Petrol station if I remember correctly! Thanks Mr. Map God |

| a key point someone else pointed out while I was playing was that there were swarms of birds flying. He surmised if you follow them, you're in the "air stream" in the game, and can fly further and better. So far I've only used them to get to the hidden diamond spots here and there, and haven't really tried using this. But it's a good thought for people who might want to put more time into trying it out. |
