that's why I haven't been using it that much...I heard the USAS-12 and the MAC-10 are a good combo to go all out, and the dart rifle + silenced Makarov are a good combo to go stealthy. However, as I mentioned, I do not like playing at night (due to something popping out and scaring the shit out of me), so I always try to go balanced. I'm thinking of the AK47 or M16. One glitch I found, was when you torch the truck with your flamethrower, and it blows up, it flies real high like 30 feet in the air. And it doesn't do much damage to you. However, the jeeps seem to infinitely spawn right behind you until you get the truck. And the truck is empty although it's supposed to be carrying a shipment lolz ![]() How to get past the annoying checkpoint as fast as possible? I find those annoying, especially even if you barge through the camp and do nothing, they chase after you and shoot you. Things worthy of note from playing the game so far: (comments) 1. I don't get how a pump action shotgun is able to jam I have one, and it never jams, ever ever ever.2. The dune buggy sucks because you have to check behind you if it's smoking and it has low reliability.3. Why the hell can't the player sleep from 6PM to 7AM? 4. Why do malaria attacks only occur in the middle of combat? 5. The bolt-action sniper seems like you can't jam it, I picked up one, and it was completely covered in mud, being a dark brown color it worked fine and I was able to headshot someone very far away.6. I get no damage to my vehicle nor does my vehicle get stuck when I run over a zebra.

| 1. Dunno, maybe you just haven't got it dirty enough 2. So do the boats. 3. Have you ever slept for 13 hours? 4. They don't, I have had them just sailing down a river 5. Keep using it eventually it'll jam 6. It's only a zebra.

| I am playing on low diff level due to getting use to the game while enduring lag and the resulting poor aiming control on my single core rig, so the resulting number of pills may be different. Yeah, I know they claim most areas are tweaked for good performance with both single and multi-core chips, but that's not been the case for me even with settings below the auto detect. I got numerous pills in the first container, so many that it often had me wondering for some time why they hadn't run out yet. The 2nd container by comparison ran out almost immediately, like a few maybe, quite annoying. On severe malaria scenarios, here's what the malaria tips on Ubi's site for the game say: "Your sickness level affects your health, stamina, and frequency of malaria attacks. Your sickness level fluctuates throughout the game; it depends on your position in the story. You can keep track of it in the Journal section of the Pause menu. You will get malaria attacks at regular intervals during the game; how often depends on your sickness level. During these attacks, your vision will be blurry, and your stamina will be completely depleted, preventing you from sprinting or jumping. Use the malaria medicine provided to you by the Underground to quickly stop these symptoms and prevent your condition from worsening. If you just wait it out, the third untreated malaria attack will cause your character to fall down and be downright paralyzed until you take your medicine. This can spell death for you if you are in the middle of combat. If you don’t have any more pills by this point, you will collapse and be returned to the nearest town. Pay attention to the Underground objective in the Pause menu. If you are told to look for someone who can give you more medicine, it means that you have only one malaria pill left. Be sure to complete a mission for the Underground to replenish your supply before you run out of medicine completely. To overcome the malaria attacks, be sure to complete Underground Missions, which earns you medicine. You can visit the Church in Pala or the Clinic in Port Selao." So, basically those Underground icons on the map with a fist are your safe havens against malaria. What I'm doing for now is running missions in town so I'm always close to a bus that can quickly get me to any far edge of the map. The bus stops usually have nearby vehicles to get to Underground locations quickly, some even with the fast buggy. It would be nice if you could do back to back underground missions to build up your pill supply, but as far as I know you can only get more pills when it says you have 1 left. IMO they really should have an option to get a larger amount of malaria pills somehow, perhaps by donating X number of diamonds to those whom supply them, or doing additional or harder tasks for them. Having to go back and do missions for them so often is ridiculous. There are various means to bypass much of the repetitive checkpoint battles, but nothing to bypass the oft required trips for pills.

![]() And by the way, the intermittent closing of the map editor was through the use of Beta drivers. Anyone know any good drivers for the 9700M GT? It shows as "old driver" but plays fine - on low.Anyone know how to get the map editor quality up? I liked Sandbox because you could create 500 standing korean dudes and 200 nuke launchers ![]() lawl...

| The editor runs on the same settings the game does. IE If the setting in the game are on HIGH, the editor settings will be on HIGH. Same for resolution and AA, etc.

| The amount of pills per canister is from my past 5 days of playing Far Cry 2, are dependent intirely on the main faction missions. I finished the game once, and started up a new character and instead of doing the main faction missions first, i decided to screw about and do most of the secondary quests first i ended up going through about 5 or 6 pills before i started the first mission..then when i was doing that mission i had the "get more pills" mission appear. yet on my first run through after doing some faction missions quickly i got some new pills..went and did another mission, used 1 pill, completed that mission and bam..get more pills was open again. So as you can see, i believe the malaria pills aviable are dependant on how quickly you advance the faction missions |

Plus it took me 3 days and this second run through im just using a trainer for unlimited health. and if you want proof..not that it matters at all: Spoiler: |
