ummmm some texture errors on counterstrike source, but that only happened once once so im guessing it wasnt serious, but everything else works fine aside from fear.

I had the exact symptoms you described when I exit Quake 4. The desktop would partially show and some to the image of Quake 4 would still be showing. Then my monitor would start flickering on and off. I have to reset my machine to clear.
I am running a new install of windows XP on an ASUS A8N32 SLI mmobo with 2GB of OCZ and a 4400 X2 processor. I have a new EVGA 7900 GT KO video card.
I have not tried FEAR yet. It looks like the common denominator between atticusg47, Xerxes161 and me is the 7900 graphics card.
I am having problems wiht fear also similar to yours atticus47.
Ever since i downlaoded the 1.05 patch my game doesnt even start up. It did for the first 3 times. When i tried to load my save game it crashes.then i started fear again after that and it crashed. My specs are listed below
hmm, yes i just tried fear again and, this time i started a new game everything seemed fine until the opening vid got to the part where it shows all the soldiers standing in line, all the soldiers heads were yellow and other things were yellow and it froze right there, almost completely locking up my comp, i could mizimize but could not get rid of fear so i forced it to restart, this is on 1.05 btw.
