F.E.A.R. sp video...Flight: Interval 07

Part 3 of the rescue Alice Wade series, and unfortunately she's still playing Fettel's rabbit. I always thought Alice was the one chasing the rabbit, go figure.

I decided to make this in widescreen as it seems to be popular these days. I inadvertently left my game settings to half volume on the in game ambient music.

At first I was upset thinking it would ruin the video, so I was going to make only a non music version. Then I realized the non music version had it's qualities, as well as the possibility of muting out uneccessary parts to make adding music more clean sounding.

The result was two of my best videos yet. The non music version lets you distinctly hear all the great sound quality the game has to offer, with subtle but mood inspiring ambients, and plays in 5.1 if you have it.

The music version shows no trace of the very faint volume of ambients left behind only where louder game sounds such as gunfire remain, and is vitually undetectable.

It took a bit of audio editing to do this, but well worth the result, especially when listened to on a good sound card and speakers.

Mode is Extreme, level time 12:30, and no damage was taken.

Music is by Tool, songs in order of appearance are Flood (minus the intro) and The Grudge.

Great, thanks John, I just redid the no music version to fix a flaw in it, which left the link for it not working. For now I'll put the new link here, but I was hoping you could fix the above post, as I caught it too late to edit it.

Ha, thanks PC, let's just say I get good at the ones I take extra interest in after hours of practice at them.

You must have been the one that DLed the non music version, I remember you saying that it wouldn't bother you if there were no music added once, at least I think that was you.

Kind of cool to crank the volume up a bit using 5.1 on the non music one. I really like the great in game audio FEAR offers. Some of those hover droids give you a creepy feeling when they come in the room, not knowing if they will turn and see you before you get them. The sound they make reminds me a bit of the Hunter Killer scenes in Terminator movies.
