F.E.A.R. sp video...Afterimage: Interval 06

My first full level F.E.A.R. video, inspired by my realization this second time through the game that the boss in this level can be beaten rather handily with the plasma rifle stashed nearby.

Had I not missed it being there until after the battle my first time through, it would have been a piece of cake then too.

This also means I made the second part first, then realized I had to use commands to get back to the status and level beginning, as the following Alice Wade level save replaced Afterimage upon completing the level.

The restructuring of the level start left me without a flashlight for some reason, and the best I could do weaponwise was to equip two of the three rifles I had.

Between the difficulty finding my way through the first part in the dark, and trying to keep it swift and small in file size, I forgot to pick up the health booster early in the level.

Ironically, this appears to have made the spookier parts of the level more suspensfull, and even the timing of the run being swifter without the booster pickup synced better with Fettel's dialouge and the background music I added.

Mode is Extreme, level time roughly 8:40, and no damage was sustained throughout the level. Being as this is a no damage run, it is purely tactical style gameplay. I may make some just to showcase the visual effects though, as this game lends well to it.

No, that's fine, you can just leave it as my FF username, it's getting to the point where it gets recognized now.

HfxRebel over at the FF Far Cry forum and file sites had done the same for me. He was also asking me to submit them to the FF mainpage, but that seemed a rather complicated thing to do, using slower sending services than I can upload them to my filepage with.

I don't know how the FF individual game file sites compare to their mainpage for circulation, but if it helps get them noticed, all the better. Much of the reason I make videos is for tutorial purposes, but I try to make them entertaining too.

This video just won me a F.E.A.R. polo shirt, after the admin of the VU forum and FEARfans.com spotted it on their forum!

I consider it an honor as the current video displayed as the FEARfans file of the week is packed with more intensity than mine by far.

Just got the shirt from Greg at VU a couple days ago. These are very comfortable and nice looking shirts. They're 100% preshrunk cotton, the sleeves have rib knit cuffs, the logo is silver embroidery, and the buttons even have a natural wood look to them.

I noticed he's left the same video on the FEARfans File of the Week since Nov 11 though. Oh well, guess you can't have everything.
