is it worth it. long enough?/ when does the demo take place.
How long u play it each day. I just wanna buy it and l;east not complete 1 week after.

The demo doesn't take place, it is tiny bits of levels stuck together, mostly in the second level at the water treatment plant, seriously, just rooms, in the full version you wont go through 2 rooms or sections in a row that were in the demo.
The multiplayer is brilliant, keep you busy for ages, and I haven't finished the game and I don't know how fast you play, but it has very good replayability, I've already played afew levels afew times over when I haven't finished game because it was so fun.
And it is just insulting when your putting so little effort into a post when you expect people to reply to it.

You know, you could always just go and look for some reviews, previews, screenshots, trailers, in game movies, or even just bother to read the other threads about the game on here.

Agreed. The game is fantastic BTW. FEAR > DOOMIII, FEAR = HL2.

it looks very doom3 like, except it isnt as repetitive. It has just enough to keep you hooked. Also the physics are not as good as HL2 but still impressive.

Its defintany worth ever penny{ BUY IT NOW} i liked it better than HL 2 becuase i love over the top kinda vilonce if ur a fan of FPS u should get it!

If you like the "fun" of running around on gantries..corridors and endless rooms without any idea of where you are going ..then fine ..spend your hard earned cash..pocket money..but be warned..F.E.A.R. has been hyped up just as Half-Life 2 was.
I am angry at the way these huge commercial enterprises are throwing utter rubbish in the bin and then raking it out again and putting it out as a "Must Have Game of The Millenium"..to take the money out of YOUR pockets to feed the FAT CATS....I say bring back Half-Life 1 or a sequel of the brilliant Far-Cry..those were, and still are value for money.
I wasted 34 quid (that is Pounds Sterling) on Half-Life 2..and now another 30 quid on F.E.A.R....COME ON you Gamers stop wasting your..Time..Brains..and Cash on grossly inferior products..your Ma and Pa would not have put up with it so why should you???
Does anybody out there agree with me?? if so SAY SO.

i know it might lag but the demo didnt lag me. But IDK saY now b4 i go buy it.

I agree with Johnny about FEAR (not half life 2)

Half life 2 was a masterpiece.
FEAR is a DECENT game if your in the mood for some firefights.

I'd say your money is better put towards saving up for new comp.

I dont know what game everyone else is playing but the fear I play is amazing. People just expect far too much of every game that hits the market. It is a well known fact that game companies hype their product to no end. If you havent learned to take what is said with a grain of salt that is your problem. Judge a game for what it is not what they said it would be....

My advice would be not to get the game seeing as your computer couldnt dream of playing it on the lowest settings stripped of anything worthy of calling it a game. Save up and get a new comp.

u dont know. The demo took me 2-3 mins 2 load only lags tiny bit

Hi, got the game last saturday, spent aprox 4 hrs per day playing it after work, completed the game friday aprox 24 hrs play time inc video`s running.

Well that's strange because I completed it less than 10 hours for sure, probably took about 7 or 6 hours.

Even if he flattered me completely in a post, it wouldn't make my day because I wouldn't be able to understand him...As for the amount of time it takes to complete, I have read reviews that put play time anywhere between 10-18 hours. So not too bad, 18 hours being about as long as Half Life 2.
