Failed Pure Server check????

i keep and keep trying to load my game but it wont i keep getting this:

Game code (ui_mp_x86.dll) failed Pure Server check

What do i do please help me someone..

Are you using Windows Vista?

If so, rightclick on the ET executable, or your enemy territory shortcut. Then go to the 'compatibility' tab. Mark the box next to 'Run this program with administrator rights'

Press ok and see if your game works.

Thanks Pure, not sure if it worked for the original poster but it sorted that message for me. This was the second entry when i googled it. The game will load but after about ten seconds im kicked. Problem is now im getting a different message.

Server disconnected - Punkbuster kicked player ME (for 0 mins) Restriction: Service communication failure - PnkBstrB.exe initilisation failed


I tried searching for the file and did the same thing (run as admin) but its still happening. I switched off my firewall and script-blocking, still no good.
My xp comp just died and im struggling with Vista.
