Help for oblivion

Hey all, I got oblivion great game but i heard you can 'cheat' and get money but console didnt work so i got the ring mod and i was like Put in the command for money then i got

Could not parse this line. im like

to Elder Scrolls help section.

Are you sure you're using the correct console command? To give yourself money, the command is:

player.addItem F [amount]

in which [amount] is the number of coins you wish to give yourself. So, to give yourself 100,000 gold, you would type:

player.addItem F 100000

You may have to open your inventory twice in order to see it.

Make sure you capitalize the 'I' in "addItem", and don't put a space before or after the dot.

Also, make sure you have the console enabled.

I don't use the F, I use the real codes for the money, so in steps explained:

-Press ~ to open up the console
-Type: player.additem 000000f {amount} (note that in place of amount there should be your requested money) so it'll look like this: player.additem 000000f 100000 for 100.000 coins

Well actually explained in UESP, you don't need all those zeros infront of the first character that isn't zero.
so in due time.

the console for adding money would be.

"Player.additem F <Amount>"
without quotes.

<Amount> being whatever you want. for example, Player.additem F 999999 would give me 999,999 coins. or septims, as they've been known to be referred as.
