How to smooth out a wildly varying frame rate I've noticed, especially outdoors, the occasional stutter and unpredictable frame rates often varying anywhere between about 18-43. Is there any way to smooth this out into a more predictable average of around 30 FPS? |

Re: How to smooth out a wildly varying frame rate I've done both actually. I've learned that NVIDIA cards seem to have a problem with ridiculous gaps between minimum and maximum frame rate. It's just something I'll have to deal with for now. Although given my current set of more pressing hardware problems, I doubt I'll be playing Oblivion much for a while. Let me just say this much, if you overclock your hardware for Oblivion or any other game, be careful. Those warnings exist for a reason. |
