Default CS Issue- Need Help

Hello all-

I'm messing around with the Construction Set (v1.2.404, I believe) trying to make some armor sets. When I made the sets with just Oblivion.esm loaded I was able to save the game, but when I went to give them to my character through the console I received books from the Knights of the Nine plug-in. The Hex Code auto assigned to these armor pieces was 01000ed(3-c). I didn't test all the hex codes, but I assume the issue is that those hex codes are already used by the KotN plug-in (which is loaded, along with Shivering Isles, on the data page).

When I went back to the CS and loaded all three esm's (Oblivion, KotN, and SI), the CS kept crashing when I went to save the armor sets into a mod (with assigned Hex Codes 03000ed(3-c)).

I'm running Vista Home Premium (64-bit), which is likely causing the problem. Is there a way to manually assign Hex Codes? Or am I just doing things all wrong?

Thanks for your help, in advance. My Newb-ass appreciates it.

You could try to loading all of the files and going to file pulldown menu, then go to tools, and select resave with new id's.
