Default Request : Skills training without the Trainers...

I'd love to see a mod that allows you to train your skills as you use them on targets, such as Marksman, Blade and Blunt. I mean, they have the equipment, so why can I not just hack, smash and shoot my way to my next skill level?

Granted it should take at least twice as long to level up a skill that way but you should still be able to... I stood shooting a target behind the Fighters Guild in Chorrol for nearly an hour thinking that I was training myself, just to look at my skills and find my Marksman right where it was when I started... I was angry to say the least...

Summarized request : Could someone please make a mod that allows the training of skills as you use them on targets? If its not possible to distinguish between targets and just shooting or slashing air, that would work too.

Sometimes I wish I knew how to do this stuff heh.

I didn't know that, because I saw everyone else using them I thought they increased your skills. Damnit.

Well I am not even a budding modder but I have played with the construction set quite a bit, I'm going to look for some script that can be added to the dummies or something.

Would it be possible to make the dummies and enemy with infinite (or ridiculously high) health? If so.... there's your (at least temporary) answer.

Good idea with the large health bit. Then it would be sort of like punchbag bob...

Can you edit the health of a dummy?

Thats what modder's did in Morrowind. Just made a NPC with a radical amount of health like 2000hp. at the end of its health it wouldnt die, but its health had to recharge, and you couldnt use the dummie till his health was all the way charged again.
