George ...you were on fire with this Black Hawk Down review, I was laughing out loud at the office while I was reading it. The date stuff especially was great, truly some well honed techniques.

I dont know when Black Hawk Down is opening here but i'm definitely first in line to see it. A lot's been made about the movies violence but the whole events around Mogadishu were extremely violent and savage, so depicting that was sure to cause some problems.

Owen Wilsons latest flick with Gene Hackman opened just now so I guess I'll check that out.

Thanks Thomas. Gonna go check out Brotherhood today. Keep hearing nothing but good things about it. Don't be shy about passing the reviews around the office. Who knows, someone may know someone who knows someone who's looking for a reviewer.

ya right...!

Kev, you watch the Royal Rumble? Wasn't too bad, except they had no more than 6 dudes in the ring at one time it seems. Vince seems to just be going for big spots now instead of flooding the ring like they used to. So the rumble itself kind of sucked. One guy would come in and eliminate like 4 or 5 dudes at one time so it was kind of lame. Good to see Curt Henning wrestle again though, he hasn't missed a beat. Hope they keep him around.

I didn't buy it - I haven't bought a WWF pay per view in a while now, actually. Things just really need to turn around and start making more sense, storyline-wise, for me to get back into the PPV habit. Over the last 2-3 months I've hardly even been watching Raw or Smackdown, I've been reading about them but not liking what I read...so I'm just going to hold out until they fix things.

Of course, from the sound of it (bringing in Hall, Nash and Hogan) they're not all that interested in fixing anything. It's like WCW was a virus, and when McMahon bought them out, he just invited it into his perfectly healthy company. It's slowly killing the WWF from the inside, and Nash/Hogan will only exacerbate the problem, I think. We'll see. Fans always like to see a long-absent wrestler back in the ring, and Nash/Hogan bring political intrigue with them.

Brotherhood was pretty cool. I liked the whole action/horror/drama/period/martial arts/ufo theme to it. (There were UFO's in it weren't there?? I gotta stop drinking in the theater....)

Sent in my resume again to G4 Media. See what happens. Also, sent in one for Light Out Entertainment for a movie reviewer. The owner of the site has e-mailed me twice and seems interested. Their 'no holds barred' reviewer on there now has nothing on me when it comes to pushing any kind of limit. Or being potentially sued by anyone of celebrity signifigance. Someone hire me dammit!!!!!!!

Kung Pow! opens today! While I'm sure it will suck, for some stupid reason I'll probably be the only one in the theater laughing my *ss off.
