I liked the 'remake', but the original was better. Maybe it needs to grow on me.

I've seen every Mad Max film, and I'm terribly tired of hearing Fury Road referred to as a remake. Honestly it's my favorite of the 4, as it seems to carry on in traditional Mad Max fashion (Obviously retaining the same creative direction of the creator and director, George Miller).

I also personally prefer Tom Hardy by miles over Mel Gibson in terms of acting in general. As fantastic and defining as Gibson's Max was, I think Hardy was a more than competent replacement.

Really, Fury Road was just the best movie of the Summer, imo. Business as usual for a legendary franchise that has always played by its own rules.
