I'm going to have a hard time sleeping tonight.

Hopefully this might be the stumbling block for Michael Bay, or maybe Transformers 4. Something needs to mess this guy up, all of his recent releases have been received poorly but they're still making money. If the latter was taken out of the equation, then maybe we could be given a reprieve from this mining of the past.

But yea, ruining my childhood favourites like GI Joe and Transformers was bad enough, and let's not even get started with what George Lucas did to Star Wars, or what he and Spielberg did to Indiana Jones...

It cannot be denied that there were only a handful of good startrek movies. Just the same, at least they were reasonably shot in the past.

The TOS movies were, but I'm not sure if I can say the same about most of the TNG "quadrilogy." But you know, that reminds me of a reviewer who said things might have been better if Abrams, not Lucas, directed the Star Wars prequel trilogy. I guess we'll see if that argument has any merit.

... Let me rephrase that then: The camera work was passable for most of the startrek movies. For me shaky cam ruins even action movies. It's like people threw out everything they knew about shooting something pleasing to the eye and just... what is this? What is this skull-fuckery? Why don't you just smear Vaseline over the lens?

It's not dramatic, it's not exciting, it doesn't make me feel like I'm in the movie - it's just annoying. Stop it.

At least transformers 4 has finally got rid of that Shia LeBeouf and Megan Fox is all but gone from the limelight now. Seriously he cannot act and she is not that good looking at all.

Marky Mark and the Autobunch/ Transformers 4... it will be interesting to see how Mark Wahlberg would be in that kind of movie. Shia LeBeouf has been acting really batshit crazy recently, that should warrant a thread all its own here though it'll be more gossipy than anything.

I want to see if this TMNT movie involves the turtles going to a nightclub. We already have oakley shades in the mix.

Also, I'm not exactly a huge fan of the TMNT series; I've never played the games, read the comics (if there were any), or watched the shows, but Megan Fox doesn't seem fit my idea of the character of April O'Neil.
