So who watched the new V TV show last night? Too me this felt like Earth Final conflict in a way. A Alien race shows up in both of the said tv shows to bring hope and a new way of life. Also some people are calling V anti-Obama which is very funny.

I saw the first 15 minutes of this on Friday, that was before Megavideo kindly told me that I had watched by 74 minute allowance..

I shall be keeping up with this show though, even though I've never watched the original.

I watched the pilot but wasn't that impressed. The CGI doesn't look too convincing and the giant spaceship-idea has been done. The sub-plots are meager (really, a teenager rebelling against his parents?) and the characters are mostly boring (generic FBI-agent).

I have not watched it but it will take some doing to out do the original. It was before its time and the first series was brilliant.

The original was a ground breaker that set the tone for future sci-fi TV shows and movies that followed the theme. I watched the new pilot (mostly) and not sure I like it...they changed the characters. I own the original series and I still prefer that one. They relied more on acting and less on CG to keep an audience with the 1983 miniseries and season that followed, I never missed an episode when I was a kid.

It's nothing amazing, but it gives me something good to watch on Tuesday, so I could care less.

Besides, I love Sci-Fi stuff: Fringe, LOST, Flash-Forward, and then the now-dead shows Surface and Invasion.
