The Hobit (!)- no trailer
I expect it to have good sound, special effects, all that stuff Lord of the Rings had.

Among a few that are on my radar:

Shutter Island - I'm looking for this to be a big time blockbuster. I have never seen a Martin Scorsese film I didn't like. Plus, I've gained a TON of respect for Leonardo DiCaprio over the past 5 years. Word is this is screen testing off the charts. I'm expecting great things.

Pirate Radio - looks like a fun film, neat subject matter

Sherlock Holmes - Robert Downey Jr. as Holmes.

The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus - Heath Ledger's last film, directed by Terry Gilliam

Alice in Wonderland - Tim Burton is directing. It's all the trip, with none of the acid.

Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps - I've had quite enough of Shia LaBeouf, but on the other hand, Michael Douglas is reprising his role as Gordon Gekko. I feel like I need to see this. If you've never seen the first one, I'd recommend it.

There's only the Hobbit and Survival of the Dead for me. The latter is a must-get for me, as I'm a big fan of George A. Romero.

On these two I would agree. I haven't heard of that other movie though..

If this is the film that I think it is, then it is on the 'maybe' list for me. Doesn't stand out, but at the same time, does look semi-interesting.

Another two films for me later this year, are Avatar (YouTube - AVATAR - International Teaser Trailer (HD)) and The Men Who Stare At Goats (YouTube - THE MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS - HD Trailer).

Avatar and 2012 both look like great movies to see, at least visually. They might not turn out great with plot and all that, but they look good and should be marginally better than the other style over substance epic, Transformers 2.

Oh, and Red Cliffs. I'd see the Chinese version, but I'll settle for the U.S. version in the theatre.

There's also a vampire movie out next year, not Twilight, can't remember the name but the trailer looked good. It has that same kind of end of the human race, natural disaster calamity thing going on.

I can't wait for it either. Pixar has the Midas Touch as far as I'm concerned.

BTW, per IMDB, Slinky is being voiced by Blake Clark.
