Speaking of Nicolas Cage movies in which the ending ruined the whole thing, that movie Next was also good until the end. You want to see the rest of the story, but before you know it the movie is over.

I thought it was Jim Carey that done that film... unless I am thinking of a different film?

As for me, most of the Scary Movie films, along with those that follow (Epic Movie, Disaster Movie, Meet the Spartans) etc. I'm not a fan of 'stupid' movies. So that would include Shaun of the Dead, Borat, Bruno, and many others like that.

I have to disagree on Scary Movie, I thought all of them were actually really well done, and a darnsight more intelligent than Epic Movie etc, although I agree with you on those.

I don't see how you could classify Shaun of the Dead as a "stupid" movie, and since it is nothing like Borat and Bruno at all I don't see why it got lumped together with those.

I think you are thinking of Knowing. I thought it was a terrible movie. The best parts of the movie were the two crash scenes, which doesn't say much about the movie.

Oh yes, that's what. Just thought of something with numbers because Nicolas Cage is trying to decipher that code... of numbers.

The crash scenes were pretty good to some degree. It was just the ending that was really terrible.

Yeah, I probably am. I've not seen it, though just know Carey was in it. He should stick to Comedy though, it is what he is best at.

The first Scary Movie was ok, as were some that followed, though lately, they've gone from 'taking the piss out of other movies' to 'being real crap, and utterly pathetic'.

As least, when they started, they had some sort of 'story' to them. The latest ones are just a bunch of random scenes thrown together, to make some money.

Shaun of the Dead is a 'British Comedy', and one of the bad ones.

It just wasn't funny. It was stupid. Walking into a shop not noticing a load of blood? Acting like Zombies to avoid detection. I'm sorry, but the movie was 'stupid-funny' not 'humour-funny'.

It was the plane crash scene that really wow'd me. I thought that was really well done.

As for the movie itself, apart from the ending which did kind of suck, I thought the movie wasn't too bad.
