Yeah the half-human thing came up and then went away out of the blue.
Some things work Americanised; this didn't in my opinion, it didn't feel like I was watching Doctor Who, even though Paul McGann gave a brilliant performance.

Eric Roberts sucked as the master, he was more voilent than cunning, and how he survived wasn't explained in the movie! (although it was explained in one of the books/audio dramas, it should've been explained in the film imo).

Also, the Daleks at the beginning sounded like Alvin and the Chipmunks (uhh...is that the right film?).

But if you enjoyed it, I'm glad

True...Gone with the wind is the only movie I've ever watched that I've fallen asleep in. It's not bad like the other films I listed are bad, but it's just so goddamn boring it hardly makes a difference.
