Cloverfield: Overhyped or Awesome?
 

So, for those who've seen Cloverfield, did it live up to it's hype, or was it a movie version of Halo 3?

it was deffinitly overhyped. however, it was still an amazing movie. it had some downfalls. but still. I loved it

I didn't read anything about the movie. I just watched the trailer and thought it looked awesome. And it was. The ending was kind of shit though I reckon.

that movie was amazing even though it doesnt explain anything (it wasnt suppose to) my one biggest question is why is it called cloverfield?

Correct, its case designate is "Project Cloverfield" like "The Manhattan Project".

Can I get a quick plot description of the movie?

From the previews it looks like a Godzilla movie, or at least that's what my older bro and I thought. Seems like you guys are telling a different story...
