Default "24" Season 6 Ending...

Was anyone else really kinda...pissed off about the end of this season of 24? There was no cliffhanger, nothing to make you want to see next season really bad, nothing that got you all worked up and excited.

Last year it shows Jack all beat up and junk as he's being taken away by the Chinese...season 6 ends...

Spoiler:
with Jack visiting Audrey's coma-like body, getting pissed off at her dad, and then walking outside and looking at the water...not-hinting-at-anything

Was anyone else sorta disappointed with the ending of a rather "hardcore" 24 season?

I thought the entire season was rather disappointing compared to Day 5. The story became just so much more unbelievable. Its as if Jack's family controls all or that everyone just seems to be gunning for him, and him alone ("forget blowing up a vital American target, let's try to kill Jack Bauer!").

Spoiler:
I think the season started going downhill when they wrapped up the Abu-Fayed/Russian nuclear plot and threw in Cheng, the lobbyist/spy and the embittered father of Jack with some plot to raise his grandson in China.

I don't think I'll make much of an effort to see any further seasons if they are anything like this one. Day 1 was still the best.

for the most part i was dissapointed as well, nothing too exciting happened, it was slow, boring, emo and generally un-24-like. it was like they just put the brakes on this season. on the other hand though, i liked how they left it wide open for the next season and gave good closure to this season. anything could happen in season 7, there will probably be major changes. personally i think a change of location would be cool. but well have to wait and see.

one thing im really hoping for season 7...
Spoiler:
is that it happens either pretty soon after season 6, as in immediately to a month or two, or at least 9 months after, so Chloe's baby wont be part of it! but i have a feeling it will be.

i think it sucks when they focus on personal drama instead of international/political drama and action, which is what 24s all about!

I hope there is a change of scenery too, after the past few seasons I've almost come to believe that television terrorist attacks only happen in Los Angeles and the rest of California and no where else.

One thing stuck me as odd in the final episode:
Spoiler:
When Milo's brother shoes up to claims his stuff, talks to Nadia and she turns her head for a second and poof! he's gone? What the hell was that? Did I miss something or am I making something out of nothing?

The entire Chloe collapse and pregnancy revelation was kinda cheesy for a 24 ending. But, Bill Buchanan is the man.

Well, all plots of have been resolved. How else would season 6 end? I was hoping for the infamous car scene to happen.

Person TBD: Get in, Jack. There's a lot I have to tell you.

Jack, still struggling to get past the shock of who he's seeing, climbs in the passenger side as Person TBD gets behind the wheel. As the car peels out, we... FADE OUT

Well season 6 ended in a resolution much like seasons 3 and 4. I liked the ending of season 6. The fade-out was interesting. I've never seen a fade on 24 before.
