I also like the end of the movie "Life is beautiful", it's an italian mixture of comedy and drama, the first half is a very funny love-story while the second is extremely sad (about the couple and their kid being deported to a concentration-camp).

My favourite movie endings are:

Spoiler:

Lord of the Rings; Fellowship of the Ring.
- I think it just a really good ending to lead onto the next movie.

Star Wars; The Empire Strikes back
- Lol, self explanatory.

Star Trek; Wrath of Kahn.
- Forgetting Spock, the nebula battle was a great way to end the film.

Star Trek; Generations.
- The scenes in the Nexus were my favourite scenes in any of the trek movies. That, the scene where Picard and Riker are going through the bridge and the captain's room (office, whatever it is called, I forgot) and Picard finds the family chronicle amongst the rubble, intact.

The usual suspects.
- And with that, he's gone.

The Matrix Revolutions
- Decent ending to a great trilogy.

Monty Python and the Holy grail
- "We the french trick you again!" Nuff said.

Monty Python and the Life of Brian
- "Always look on the bright side of death"

The Sound of Music
- I just thought it was nice. Don't laugh at me for saying that.

Dude, Where's my car
- Yes, its a light comedy movie. But they never explained where the car went before it was impounded, and suddenly it appears behind a truck at the end. "Dude, where's my car?" - "Oh, there's your car dude!"

also a good ending was of Resident Evil.

The herogirl walks out of the special room and sees the entire city dead and a paper hanging on a car. DEAD MEN WALKING... with pictures of zombies. The girl takes a shotgun of a police car and lock and load and walks into the city!

For me a new movie was born

The blues Brothers.

Not very original and all, but heck, it literally rocks!

And what a movie! Roberto Begnini is one of my heroes for making that movie.

My favorite ending might be in Takashi Miike's Dead or Alive. "Hits you like a truck," (-Miike) for sure. Good movie, at that.

I actually really enjoyed Crank. The ending, too, was something.

The ending of Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail's ending I think was also very good.
