Cars and a NASCAR fan...
 

Being a NASCAR nut got me thinking about the last tie breaker race the King, Chick, and Lightning had at the end of the movie, Cars..... if you take into account that the King not only led, but also led the most laps and that Chick only led one lap... it's 5 for leading a lap period and 5 bonus points for leading the most... and that the King finished second behind winner Chick which is only a 5 point difference..... the King and Chick are actually still tied! HAHAHAHAH!!!!!! :p Ahhhhh, don't ya' just love those people that ruin movies with the specifics, hehe.....

I did not see the movie yet but...
King came in second = 170
King led most laps = 5
King led a lap = 5
Total = 180

Chick won = 180
Chick led a lap = 5
Total = 185

1st place = 180 points
2nd place = 170 points.

Dangit, I could have sworn it was a five point difference between first and second, meh.....

Remember, they changed the rules in 2004 for the chase format.
The "chase" needs to be done away with IMO.

Hate it for the unfairness to eleventh and beyond; then ya love it because of how close it makes the finish..... needs to be reworked that's for sure....
