i am actually looking for them to do a little something along the Cartoon line. They had Spiderman and his amazing friends for a long time. I would like to see the Iceman/Firestar hook up ... oh and maybe a little, cameo by the silver surfer and Fantastic four... Copywrite sucks LOL.

I thought x3 turned out pretty good.

But yea, S3 is going to be an awesome more. I'm glade they were able to get him and mary jane back together in S2. Its all great movie making. None of it would've happened without years people growing up in the Marvel universe.

if you can suspend knowledge of the Marvel universe, than X3 was very well done.

The black spider man was also not limited to the Symbiote/venom . For a very brief moment in time, Spider man had Cosmic Powers rivaling the silver surfer.

I'm not that big of a fan, but I'd like to see the rest of it. It does look like a good movie, I'll definitely watch this.

It's a work based on those characters. Asking the director to go strictly by the outline of the comic book would produce a piece of work a week long with a 400 billion dollar price tag.It is a work of its own based on the comics. If you look at it any other way your cutting yourself and everyone who helped create it short. Thats the problem with being a fanboy. You can never take anything for what it is.

Oh .. I am not a fanboy by any means. I am just saying that you have to suspend the comic knowledge. Cyclops didn't die at the hands of the phoenix, Charles Xavier wasn't killed at the hands of the phoenix, he disappeared ( taken to the Shi'ar galaxy by some princess blah blah blah). The movies were great. Other facts, Rogue absorbs the powers of Ms.marvel BEFORE she becomes an xmen. I believe Jene is also Cloaned and becomes the Goblin queen before she comes into her powers as the phoenix ( dark or other). Hell in manhattan begins with the release of Ilyana Rasputin who is colosus's sister ( lost at the age of 3 if i remember). No i am not a fanboy, i enjoy a good story, but with sooooooo much material out there, they could have done something "by the book" and still had a GREAT movie. Not as if they don't already ... I liked all of the Super hero movies except Daredevil. Don't get me started. The best thing about that was the casting role for The kingpin.
